past rantings - the holiday spirit [take two]

OK, so I got with the holiday spirit. Maybe it was the "Holiday Lights" I put on my desktop (and no, I didn't get the registered version) or maybe it was that oh-so-special episode of 90210...I really don't know. But maybe getting in the holiday spirit is always that best of things to do. Is it right to conform if it means betraying something else you believe in? I really don't know. Most people get really excited when I start telling them that I shrugged off that scroogedness that adorns so many of us this time of year. But then when I finish the story they usually don't have the stupid "you're one of us now" grins on their faces anymore. In fact, I don't think one person considered my bold attempt of getting in the holiday spirit the "right" way to do it. What hypocrites. There's just no pleasing some people, eh?

Oh...what did I do, you ask?
Well....I ate an elf (so much for vegetarianism...and it didn't even taste good. They said it'd taste just like chicken, but if I remember correctly what chicken tastes like...)
